New Servers

Today we have ordered two new dedicated servers, One as an upgrade to our old game and radio server and the other as a dedicated web server,

Server specs for both are...

Intel Xeon Quad Core 2.40Ghz
2.0GB DDR2-533 Memory
160GB Western Digital SATA HD

This should give our users a noticeable performance increase when using the affected sites and servers,
Both will be based in Manchester so they are more central to the UK then our current London based ones,

As such there will be some downtime for the radio and clan sites and game/radio servers over the coming week,

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

This is to replace our 3 year old 3Ghz P4 1Gb ram server which has done very well over the years but if used any longer we would no doubt start having problems with it so best to lay to rest now

that is all we need lol mr k playing with a better ping the server was ok on the old one for me though am looking forward to seeing what i will get ping wise from the new one
