Clan Rules for all

The following is something that we have put together with input from our members.

Rules for the Clan and for playing on TsU game servers

Punishments for continued rule violation's
1st Offence:- Warning
2nd Offence:- Kicked
3rd Offence:- Banned for 1 day
4th Offence:- Banned for 1 week
5th Offence:- Banned permanently

To be clear and fair to all members after 3 months the 1st and 2nd warning slots would be lifted and removed from your record. If on a 3rd or 4th offence it will take longer, 6 months, before it is removed from your record.

The clan is not and will never be a "yes sir no sir" militarily run type, but some rules are required to maintain order & a bit of common scene from all its members.

The rules below apply to both members and guests playing on skyuser servers. They also provide guidance so our admin's can be clear about what constitutes an offence.

Any Racism, swearing or cheating will get you banned without warning.

This will not be tolerated in any form from either members or visitors playing on our server.

General Behaviour/Chatting:
Don't play stupidly,
Don't complain about lag. There's nothing we can do to improve your connection,
You can leave and play on another server if its that bad. Saying that you are lagging is fine, blaming it on the server and making it out to be the reason and continually yapping about it will get you kicked.

Bullying or repeated taunting This is not pleasant for the recipient so be respectful or you will be kicked.

A bit of in game banter is fine but do not take it to the extent of becoming the above.

Don't spam in the game e.g. need supplies, need uav, repeatedly as it may get you kicked.
Use English in chat, (remember no swearing, no insults, etc).

The Shooting & Killing of team mates:

Accidents do and will happen, apologize and carry on playing.
If you were the one killed, accept that it happens and move on.
If you come back and kill the person who killed you, that's team killing.
Team killing is not allowed.


Vehicles:

Deliberate ramming using vehicles or aircraft is not allowed.

Destroying vehicles in your own base or the anti air gun because someone else got it before you is not allowed

Stealing peoples vehicles from your team is not allowed.
E.g. If someone leaves a vehicle they might still need it , example a Engineer providing repair's, ask them if you can take it.

Driving away tank, jeep etc when someone is using it. If someone is in a tank but using the machine gun, don't drive it away.

Don't jump in a vehicle and drive off alone if others need a lift. Others need transport just the same as you .

Base Camping :

You are not allowed to base camp at a spawn point that cannot be taken. The killing of players within their home base is not allowed.

Team Switching :

Pick a team and play it out If you switch team just because one of them is losing, you will be kicked if the teams are highly unbalanced join move over to the team with less players.
Sitting idle-not playing will get you kicked

Cheats and Stat Padding

Stat padding ie going off in map and sitting in a tank etc is not going to be tolerated we will kick you, if you come back and do it again you will be permanently banned
Any wall glitching or usage of hacks and cheats you will be permanently banned and reported to ea

Ventrilo :

No under 16 year olds are allowed in Ventrillo.
Phonetic is limited to your screen name only.

Guests are allowed on vent but must be currently playing or talking to a member. All guests not in game or talking will be kicked.
Respect the rules of the channel that you are in , ie the no swearing channel means that.

Clan Behaviour Rules: (rules just for the members)

Remember the server rules and punishments: they are the same for all.
Being a member does not make you exempt.
As a member must at all times set a good example on our server because you are the clan. How you play & act is how we are looked at as a clan, you are our ambassadors so act accordingly.
If you have a problem talk to a game / clan leader about it. It will be sorted!!
As a member it is important you wear your clan tags at all times, remember it is your clan too be proud of it and of being a member in it.

Members are free to recruit and set the ball rolling for friendly's, ask them go to the site and contact the match organiser or one of the leaders.

If you break the rules you will be reprimanded.

You have three chances, use them all up and you will be kicked out of the clan.
The clan cant be fairer than that though we shall consider the overall severity of the problem leading up to your having to be removed and decide if is necessary.

Check the forum as often as possible. All sorts of information is posted there that you need to stay up to date with.

Respect your fellow members. If you don't, you will be no longer be welcome.

Complaints about other clan members should be made to your game leader, if not sorted, they or you would then bring it to clan leader or second in command.

Arguing with another clan member for an extended period of time will result in both being removed until it is sorted out.

Don't start stuff e.g. flaming on the forum just for the sake of it.

Remember, it is just a game and if you start taking it too seriously, you will take the fun out of the game (personal advice-stop playing for a week do something else till you feel like doing it again otherwise you will burn out and not enjoy it)

You must register on Clanbase to be eligible for matches (so no clanbase - no matches)
We only ask for 1 hour training per week playing together.
We would expect all members to join in or be on ventrilo, mike or no mike, so you can get a feel for the clan and know what we are doing in game.

All members must have Ventrilo, x-fire is good too although not necessary.

Members who have been non active for 30 days on the clan forums or Ventrilo unless Senior members have been informed will be removed from the TeamSkyUser gaming roster (not the TeamSkyUser forums).


Finally to join TsU this is set in stone, you must be 16yrs old+, don't cheat, and be able to have a laugh and not take it too seriously.
