Cool , Wake Island was my fav map on BF2 so should be fun in 2142 , only problem I have is Ive yet to play all the normal maps lol , and don't ask me about them pod things , because I have not got a clue

Erm, not sure yet, just about to try it out, supposedly different modes of play and support for widesceen res - tho i aint found that yet.

I guess thanks due to multiplay for patching the server in double quick time, just need a squad for a game or 2 now - any takers ?

Just a quick update, the 2 new maps dont really do a lot for me, shingles is an infantry map that seems to be designed with snipers and walker spawn camping in mind. Wake could have been good but the poor attention to detail on the graphics lets it down ( every tree on the whole map seems to be the same size and shape ) defending the titan is quite interesting as the enemy can get in at both ends ( so watch your back for stabbers ! ). All in all I think I will be sticking to my favorite maps unless anyone else fancies a quick game in the new ones. Oh yes almost forgot, apparently any badges, medals you get on the new maps dont register, nice one EA.
